Four Griffin Generations

Yesterday was a busy day and a great day to spend the afternoon with the entire Griffin clan. Almost a year ago we were photographing Jessica and Corey’s wedding and yesterday we had the pleasure of photographing four Griffin generations. It was a real treat to see the two new additions to the Griffin family, these cute cousins are destined to be best of friends. Here is a sneak peek into the marathon photoshoot that included, 2 infants (need I say more), 3 great-grandparents, 2 grandparents, 2 new moms and 2 new dads!!!!

Clayton and Sophia picked one of their favourite locations for their nuptials. Out on the dock at sunset can be a challenging location for photographs, but when you get the couple exposed properly against the backlight sky the results are simply stunning.

When it poured rain on Sheena and Duncan’s wedding days they didn’t let it stop their two day party. Even though the weather wasn’t cooperating Sheena and Duncan didn’t let their spirits get soggy – they put on their galoshes and pulled out their umbrellas and got on with the party. Besides don’t they say if it rains on your wedding day – you’ll be rich… Sheena and Duncan should be winning a substantial jack-pot very soon. Despite the rain and the mud – some fabulous wedding pictures were still to be had.

Sometimes I wonder how we constantly get so lucky. Again we had the pleasure of working with Crystal Brown from Ricci Hair Co. This time she paired herself with fellow stylist Mika, the extraordinary makeup artist Aidan Pomeroy and model Nadine. The look was pure romance and spring – too bad I can’t say the same for the weather. Loved this team – had a great time together, can’t wait to work together again soon.

We had the privilege once again to work with Crystal and Daniel, from Ricci Hair Co. Model is Lindsay and make up by James Kershaw. It was amazing to work with such a great team of people. Griffin Wedding

What a fun couple and what a fun day. This dynamic duo tied the knot in our favourite month for romance, February. It was a bit cold outside but that’s o.k. because these two put on a hot, hot party inside. It was truly a pleasure to be able to capture their special day.

We recently had the opportunity to travel to Cuba to photograph the Yastrub /Westvelt wedding in Varadaro Cuba. A relaxed day in a tropical paradise followed by a sunset wedding on the beach and topped off with a great party. Surrounded by their friends and family, Todd and Melissa celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Paradisus Princesa Delmar. It just seems like the perfect way for this beautiful couple to start their married life together. Here’s hoping married life is as dreamy as this day was.
